Makes:15-20 Cookies
Baking Time:12-15 minutes
Baking Temperature:320 degrees F /160 degrees C
1 Cup of All purpose flour/Maida
1/2 a cup of powdered sugar
6 Tbsp of Unsalted butter,softened
4 Tbsp of Tutti fruitti/dry fruits
2 Tbsp of Milk
1/4 Tsp of vanilla extract
A pinch of Salt
In a mixing bowl add maida/All purpose flour, softened unsalted butter and the powdered sugar.
Add a pinch of salt.Just crumble it nicely so that all gets mixed well.
Add vanilla essence,tutti frutti/dry fruits.
Using few drops of milk knead the dough well so that all gets combined well.
The dough should be little sticky and firm enough to hold the shape.
Roll the dough in a cling/Plastic wrapper.I used a foil to roll it.I rolled it for about 5 cms in diameter
Refrigerate the dough for at least 40min-1 hour .
Then them out and cut it into a circles of about 4-5 mm thick slices.
Preheat the oven at 160 degrees C for 10 minutes.
Line the tray with the parchment paper.
Line the sliced cookies on the paper.
Bake them in a preheated oven for 12-15 minutes. The timings for the baking may vary. After 10 minutes keep checking till the edges gets browned.
Reove them from oven and allow it to cool for some time.
Then store them in ait tight container.
  • Instead of tutti frutti you can use dry fruits like raisins too.
  • The cookies will be soft at first but after some time they turn little crisp.
  • U can use cookie cutter too for making desired shapes.
