THIS IS HOW I MADE IT:

Wash the palak and chop it.Keep it aside.
Chop the onions finely.Chop the green chillies too.Keep it aside.
Crush the garlic pods and keep it ready.
Heat 1/2 a tsp of oil in a pan.
Add the crushed garlic and saute it in low flame.

Then add the chopped palak leaves and saute it nicely.
Add little salt and mix well.
Keep the palak aside.

In the same pan add the remaining 1/2 Tsp of oil and heat it.
Add cumin seeds , chopped onions and saute it.

After the onions get fried well, add the grated paneer to the pan.
keep the flame in low.
Then add chilli powder and turmeric powder.

Mix well.
Then add the palak (that had been saute'd earlier).
Add required amount of salt .
Don't saute it for long time or else the paneer will turn very hard..

Have it with Roti..

HANDY TIPS:

  • Don't saute the mixture for longer time or else the mixture might turn very hard.
  • Instead of Paneer you can add Tofu -Soya Paneer
  • Any type of green leaves can be added.
  • You can roll them in the roti and have it as frankies.
  • Grate the paneer instead of crumbling it.Use a grater for grating the paneer.
